Arrowsmith School

Arrowsmith School which has operated in Toronto for over 25 years has expanded it's program to public and private schools in Canada and the United States. All teachers in the Arrowsmith Program receive intensive training prior to implementing the program in their schools.

Arrowsmith School has been helping students with learning disabilities since 1980. Their program deals with the underlying causes of learning disabilities by identifying and strengthening weak cognitive capacities.

The Arrowsmith Program is founded on neuroscientific research and over 25 years of experience demonstrating that it is possible for students to strengthen the weak cognitive capacities underlying their learning dysfunctions.

Their program has proven effective for students having difficulty with reading, writing and mathematics, comprehension, logical reasoning, visual and auditory memory, non-verbal learning, attention, processing speed and dyslexia. View Arrowsmith testimonial video

"We're committed to maintaining consistent and high standards at all the schools that offer the Arrowsmith Program which is why we provide comprehensive training and certification of all teachers in the program as well as assessment, ongoing support and monitoring of student progress throughout the school year." says Barbara Young, the school's founder. "We're excited to have an excellent school such as
Georgetown District Christian School take on the program".
